Announcing ‘SharepriceAir’ - desktop ticker application

We’ve just released an Adobe Air desktop ticker in to public beta , allowing users to keep an eye on their investments in ticker format on their screen.  Prices are currently delayed.  Use the ’settings’ option (the ‘cog’ icon on the right) to add / remove instruments and position the ticker to your own preference.  Supports multiple monitors.

I thin the application is very useful but we really need live quotes. You also mentioned about your APIs- will these ever be released publicly so we can make our own applications with the live data?

    Cheers,
    Martin

great idea, looks well implemented. BUT only any real use if LIVE and customisable- with direct access to your trading account.

    Also MUST be stable

Love the SharePrice Air app. Please consider this a strong yes vote to adding live prices to the app!

Whilst I’m hear, I’d also like to say the iPhone app is fantastic. Thanks for the continually excellent service you are providing!

Absolutely excellent work with both the website and air. Live prices would make it complete.

    Keep it up.

Excellent work, Live prices would be very useful. One thing I’ve already noticed, the app is very CPU intensive and is slowly eating up system memory, but defiantly a winner :)

as this is a beta, running for 15 mins 60mb ram used and increasing with an average of 40% CPU used, but I’ve noticed if you minimize then maximize it frees up 20/30mb ;)

I would like the option to not have it scroll. Possibly the option to resize it? A little bit of a buggy display.

    Other than that, it’s great.

Brilliant application but would be much better if it was scrolling live prices.
