A trip to the TESLA showroom

Whilst back in Palo Alto for the Always On conference, I read about the opening of the TESLA show room in the local press.
In summary, the TESLA is a lithium-ion battery powered car with sports car performance (0-60 in 3.9 seconds), built on the Lotus production line in the UK.
It’s backed / supported by a number of .com ’stars’ including Elon Musk (founder of PayPal) ; Jeff Skoll (Ebay); Larry Page & Sergi Brin (Google) ; and just my luck: Laurie Yoler, a former board director of Interactive Investor.
Laurie kindly offered to show us around. We arrived just before “Larry” (see above) was due in to pick his new car up. “Sergi” (see above) had been in earlier to drive his away.
Me, I ended up walking out with a TESLA jacket, the waiting list was just too long for the car…
Now then, back to that next big idea…..
