I was wrong about the time of latest price. For TLW it shows correctly until streaming is turned on, then it shows 1 hour regardless of the actual time of day.

  2. Dave on May 30th, 2008 10:44 am

The graph facility is not relevant to a streaming service. Far more useful to have a graph of the prices within the current day or week. Ideally show the actual price within a shaded band for the bid-ask spread.

    brilliant service - good luck

The table of trades - any chance you could highlight Buys vs Sells?

  5. Richard Angelis on June 2nd, 2008 5:05 pm

    Looks great

Love the new site - very well laid out and very clear
A few I’d like to see which would stop me using any other sites.
    1. I assume the large number is the last trade although this is not clear - it would be nice to have the volume displayed of the last trade without having to refresh,.
    2. An indication on whether a trade is a buy or sell
    3. To refresh the trades listed at the bottom you have to press refresh. Fair enough but this turns streaming off.
    4. The graph displayed - there should be an option to display that day’s activity either in terms of trade value or intraday price (similar to iii)

    Great service.
Would be nice to be able to create a portfolio and see all prices on one screen.
Also would be nice to be able to reduce the font to make it a little more subtle.
I agree that buy-sell split would be useful or at least indicate what the trade type is on the list.
Also an intra day chart option would be nice.

A step in the right direction.

I think the interface structure needs tweaking with more interactivity and portfolio based. Would be nice to see broker forecasts somewhere and level2 order book data (now I am dreaming).

Currently showing the share price as the last trade.

I think this is a great idea - exactly what I was looking for - in fact if I hadn’t stumbled across it then I may have started something very similar.

    Keep up the good work!

Would be great to see a fuller graph facility for less than 10 days, showing week and inter day timescales. To allow for true tracking of the real time price within todays context.

  13. Jim Winterbottom on October 17th, 2008 3:52 pm

The graph displayed should allow Intraday prices to be shown.

The graphs you have at the moment are pretty useless and I doubt anyone uses them.

I’m interested in the price NOW and only registered for that facility which is great but I need Intraday please….Now !!

  14. Tim on October 17th, 2008 3:57 pm

Yes, you’re right Jim, we’re getting to them.

    You’re so demanding!!

    ;)

This is a great website. I LOVE it, particularly the Advanced feature. However, the List View does not have the following column/info:
    1) Volume
    2) Prev close
    3) Open

In addition, the chart does not seem to work in the Advanced feature.

I would also like to see the daily change of the FTSE100 & FT250 indices being displayed at the top of the page to give one and overview of how the overall market performs.

I’m a bit of newbie here but what does ‘Last Price’ mean in the List View? This price does not normally correspond ot the price at the close of the day in the ‘Graphical View’.

Is there a reason why VGM (Vatukoula Gold) is not accesable? LOVE the multi diplay screen in the advanced area makes things nice and easy to monitor.

  17. Blitz on November 4th, 2008 11:50 am

Nice site and easy to use. Good luck on the iPhone, should make it multi platform imo though. Also sell some advertising to keep this site free. I’ve been clicking on the pop up on the advanced bit so you can get a bit of funding there. Hope the rest of you are!!

is it possible to include us stocks as well ‘cos it doesn’t seem to find AAPL.

  20. Tim on November 27th, 2008 6:11 pm

The ‘Advanced’ service of our site now includes delayed streaming for NASDAQ and NYSE stocks.

  21. Sam on December 31st, 2008 12:42 pm

Fantastic service. Have you considered a BlackBerry version to complement your iPhone offering?

  22. Ian Ferguson on January 9th, 2009 11:35 am

I LOVE this service. I’m really hoping you keep it free. Just about to try out the iPhone service too - again, impressed that the app is free too!

  23. Sarah on January 9th, 2009 5:43 pm

Really like the site, but would like to understand the info better. Would like to know how Last Price and Chg Abs are generated. Also woild like Chart to display what is happening today as shown on most other sites showing share prices.
    Thanks.

    re. 1Phone app….

RBS 1 year chart shows now; thanks.
RBS 5 year chart still doesn’t show.

    Happy New Year

  25. colin on January 28th, 2009 5:22 am

Hi, just wondered if it would be possible to set up a personal portfolio section on this site?, if you did, i wouldnt have to go to any other site for info. love what you provide here anyway. Cheers. Colin.

  26. mark on February 2nd, 2009 4:21 pm

love the site but, being a complete newbie, would like to understand the info and data better. And could you show which trades are Buys and which are Sells?

  27. Jensen on February 6th, 2009 11:20 pm

I really like the site but I’d like to see some improvements,

    1. Streaming portfolio
    2. Buys and sells
    3. Level 2

I would not mind paying a subscription for all of the above. If you got all that working, charge £15 then you could have my money instead of me paying £20 for quote stream. How about it?

  28. Carl on February 13th, 2009 9:18 am

Great app but needs some of Bloombergs features to make it exceptional.

What would be great would be able to have an instant value of your portfolio. When selecting a share you should be able to put your buy price and share quantity in at the same time (Bloomberg does this). In the main setting you should be able to put your buy dealing costs, stamp duty rate and selling dealing costs. This could then give you an instant and accurate value of your portfolio.

Would be great to have folders for stocks too, you could have a portfolio and also a folder for stocks you are watching.

A news feed would be great both general and also for each stock you are tracking.

I would love an LME tracker too. I manufacture in Tin and it would be great to keep track of metal prices.
