O2 drops i-mode

I’m unashamed to say we were a launch partner of O2’s big commitment to mobile internet in 2005 : I-mode. To ride on the back of a significant promotional budget for a couple of days effort (certainly no sweat or tears involved) was worth doing and gave us some decent exposure to an audience who otherwise may not have found us.
Today they pulled the plug on it. Roll on the next big thing…I feel an Apple i-phone widget in the making
